Immerse yourself in the modern incarnation of this Altair residence, a marvel in the upscale Orange County community. Inspired by the natural sanctuaries and shapes that are native to Southern California, Helena Brana called forth an organic color palette of light woods, moonstone grays, and amethyst purples to transform the 4,000-square-foot build into a luxury oasis.
The zen living space, which Helena titled “Warm Water and Gentle Wind”, embodies peace and comfort. It blends spaces to relax, entertain, play, and feel calm within—like a reflecting pool of the client’s own values and what “home” means to them.
Helena Brana’s signature aesthetic revolves around experimenting with contemporary designs, curating a global assemblage of exquisite furnishings and lighting elements, and incorporating materials and textures rooted in tradition. For this project, she selected hand-blown crystals, modern curved shapes, champagne metals, cement, plaster, plain & rift-sawn woods, and a combination of organic wool, silk, and linen.
The result is a luxurious oasis that seamlessly blends contemporary design with traditional materials, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the exquisite furnishings and lighting elements to the combination of organic textures and materials.
